SURESTAFF is Hiring a Sheet Metal Fabricator Near Carrollton, TX
Position located in Carrollton, Texas looking for technically skilled candidate with good attention-to-detail for the position of a Metal Fabricator. This candidate will be responsible for adhering to a production schedule, ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned and secured and ensuring that safety standards are always met.
Metal Fabricator Responsibilities
- Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines.
- Setting up metalwork machinery including rollers, drill presses, brakes, and shears.
- Double-checking design specifications before commencing with cutting work.
- Fabricating and constructing metal components.
- Grinding and finishing completed products.
- Performing quality checks on completed products.
- Conforming with company safety regulations.
- Completing job reports.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ previous work experience as a metal fabricator is required
- Trade school certification is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical prints.
- Proficiency with metal fabrication tools including shears, break presses, rollers and manual sheet metal tools.
- Basic geometry skills required.
- Ability to lift and manipulate large metal objects.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
Pay- DOE- Starting around $19-$23
