Superior Forge and Steel is Hiring an Administrative Coordinator Near Lima, OH

Job Summary: Administrative Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative support to both the Human Resources (HR) and Quality Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks, coordinating departmental tasks, and ensuring efficient operations within both departments. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. This will be a non-exempt, full-time position that will report to the HR Manager with dotted line reporting to the Plant Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties/Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
1. Manage departmental correspondence, including emails, letters, and
memos.
2. Maintain and update departmental files, databases, and records 3. Schedule meetings, appointments, and interviews for staff
HR Support:
1. Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job
vacancies, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews. 2. Maintain employee records through HRIS system
3. Support HR staff in the administration of benefit enrollment and changes
4. Assist with HR-related projects and initiatives as assigned
Quality Department Support:
1. Support and enforce quality management to ensure quality product
production.
2. Provide oversight and support of daily QA functions to include review and
approval of manufacturing and quality control documents.
3. Coordinate quality assurance activities, including audits, inspections, and
compliance checks.
4. Support the preparation and submission of quality related reports and
documentation.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are
met.
Document Control:
1. Oversee the management, distribution, and organization of documents
within our manufacturing environment.
2. Enter production information to include production sheets, production
hours, receiving reports, manage data and furnace loads.
3. Establish and maintain document control procedures and systems to
ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of manufacturing documents.
4. Enforce document control policies and procedures to ensure adherence
to quality standards and regulatory requirements, such as ISO standards and industry-specific regulations.
5. Conduct regular audits of document control processes and systems to
identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
Required Skills/Abilities:
-Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably within the
manufacturing industry.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
-Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced
environment.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with
discretion.
-Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals at all
levels of the organization.
Education and Experience:
-Associates Degree Preferred
-1-3 years of experience working in an administrative role supporting multiple
departments
-Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Physical Requirements:
-This position is primarily an office job that will require sitting for several hours at a
time.
-This position will also require mobility to walk to different areas of the plant and
the ability to stand while meeting with employees.
