Superior Forge & Steel Corporation is currently hiring experienced Mill Operator for our operation in New Castle, PA. The Mill Operator is a member of our Machining Department responsible for operating a milling machine to mill our forged rolls to customer specifications.

Wage Range for this position is: $21.50 to $25.50 per hour, (rate based on experience and milling abilities).  

Shift: Swing shift position

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate mills and controller
• Milling rolls to customer blueprint specification
• Inspect milled dimension(s) to customer blueprint
• Reporting all deviations from customer blueprint specifications
• Perform other department duties, as assigned

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:

• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Exposed to seasonal temperature changes
• Manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and vibration

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3 year previous machining and milling experience preferred
• Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery preferred
• Strong math skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Previous CNC machining experience preferred
• Must be able to work any shift

Must pass pre-employment criminal background check, physical and drug screen

Classification: Hourly
