Superheat FGH Services Inc. is currently recruiting a Service Technician based out of our Long Beach, CA location.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Installing new hardware on printed circuit boards.
• Performing upgrades to equipment with assistance of computer software.
• Perform high voltage testing on various equipment.
• Assessing hardware and installation functionality while preparing reports on maintenance and repair work that has been performed.
• Handling customer relations in a professional and friendly matter.
• Explaining complex installation, diagnostic and repair issues in a way that’s accessible to a non-technical audience.
• Other duties as assigned by regional equipment manager.

Knowledge, Skills & Competency Requirements

• Knowledge of how to maintain, repair, diagnose and correctly install or replace various components.
• Strong knowledge of the industrial industry and the components used in it.
• Physical stamina in the handling of complex tools and heavy equipment.
• Firm technical knowledge of blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while using their own technical judgement regarding complex task.
• Precise written and verbal communication on repairs preformed with written documentation.
• Computer knowledge with various programs in excel, word, ability to set up local area network, and technical programs for generators.

Work Experience & Educational Requirements

• Previous work experience in a related field.
• Experience with industrial mechanical and electrical operations.
• Post-secondary education in a related field considered an asset.
• TWIC, OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, First Aid, and Forklift Training an asset.
• Ability to lift and pull 75 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Travel as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
