Human Resources Assistant

CompanyOverview: SunshineEnterprise is seeking a Human Resources Assistant with successful andprogressive experience in being an integral part of the Human ResourcesDepartment and will assist in administering and supporting a variety ofprograms within the department on a regular basis including, but not limitedto; Onboarding, new hire orientation,training, benefit coordination, database management, and other projects asassigned.

PositionSummary: The successful candidate shall have a minimum of 3 years related experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Handles requests for verifications of employment, compliance reporting, and other employment information as directed.
  • Position will require 40% travel.
  • Assists with maintaining files, forms, and database information associated with personnel, benefits, and unemployment
  • Create, maintain, and routinely audits personnel files for accuracy and adherence to established guidelines and requirements
  • Track new hires through service request forms, collects HR paperwork, coordinates, and conducts New Hire Orientation
  • Processes separation paperwork including Cobra, unemployment insurance, and other employment information as directed

·Maintains confidentiality in accordance with all HIPPA and otherState and Federal employment requirements

·Answer routine inquiries from inside and outside the company onemployment verifications, job openings and other general questions

·Process bills for benefits and other HR related invoices

·Maintain employment resumes, application forms, and applicant flowlogs

·Place job orders with state job service and classifiedadvertisements in local newspapers

·Will Heavily be involved in Onboarding Activities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Abilityto communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Strongorganizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedureswithin the Human Resources field
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of humanresources work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image to applicantsand clients

NecessaryAttributes:

·Mustpossess the ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles

·Teamplayer with good interpersonal skills

·Self-starter with good verbal andwritten communication skills

·Relianceon experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

·Dedicatedand hard working

  • Above average organizational skills
