POSITION SUMMARY

The primary objective of the IT Business Systems Applications Manager is to manage existing applications and ERP related operations and support processes, project lead key business projects, manage expectations across all stakeholder groups, develop metrics and monitoring standards, ensure compliance with operational controlled documents and recommend improvements across the Company business.

Level of Experience:  

• Strong Data Analytics experience. Power BI and SalesPad experience a plus
• 5 yrs. of leadership/management experience preferred
• Ability to work cross-functionally supporting Sales and Marketing; Operations, Quality and Finance. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrable knowledge of ERP and Applications Systems including Sales Pad.
• Strong Application management experience
• Strong project management capabilities
• Demonstrable experience working in an IT Service Management capacity.
• Previous experience in the administration and support of Microsoft windows desktop technologies
• Experience with AWS, VMware, Active Directory (and LDAP), IIS, Windows server management preferred
• Experience with network ISP mpls infrastructure, Watchguard F/W, routing, ipsec VPN, PRTG, Cisco Meraki preferred
• Proficient in writing fine-tuned SQL queries, stored procedures and working with data in relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL.
• Strong customer service skills, treating all employees with the same courtesy and professionalism
• Ability to liaise with users at their level of technical competence
• Ability to interpret and prioritize user needs

Level of Education: 

Bachelor’s Degree required with an emphasis in an IT related field preferred.

Masters Degree preferred

Certifications:

Project Manager Professional or similar project certification or ITIL V4 Foundation Certification preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

• Lead, motivate, and influence the performance of the Company IT team to deliver the requisite professional business services and support required throughout.
• Lead business projects from approval (inception) to implementation by following defined project methodology and IT change management processes.
• Build a mechanism for the user community to provide greater input and feedback
• Establish and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships with fellow IT managers across the organization.
• Allocate and co-ordinate resources according to workflow patterns and system needs to ensure high service levels are maintained in all aspects of IT business applications and operations across the company
• Establish service provider partnerships to optimize the cost of services and maximize the mix of internal versus outsourced services.
• Define and implement system and application access controls that conform with relevant physical and cyber security standards as defined by the company.
• Enforce license compliance and utilization
• Define and maintain the project roadmap with executive stakeholders
• Evaluate and recommend new project systems and techniques
• Exercise financial delegations as approved by the delegation of authority
• Assist in recovery action plans in the event of a disaster
• Support global IT strategy
• Prepare appropriate procedures and documentation
• Participate in the recruitment and selection of IT staff.
• Additional duties as assigned
