Sunflour Baking Company is Hiring a Baker/Pastry Chef Near Charlotte, NC

Are you a talented scratch baker and cake decorator looking to expand your skills? Sunflour Baking Company is looking for you for our Ballantyne location at 14021 Conlan Cir B-9, Charlotte, NC 28277! We are inviting professionals to join our Bake Team in a variety of roles from bread baking, cake decorating and pastry production to various bench work in support of the operation. Candidates with baking, pastry and decorating experience are strongly encouraged to apply! We are busy and we are fun!

Successful candidates will:

· Be experienced, skilled and passionate about Baking and Pastry Arts

· Be able to work well with others under pressure

· Understand and implement kitchen sanitation, safety and cleaning protocols

· Be reliable and consistently show up on time, ready to work

Requirements:

· Able to lift 50 pounds

· Able to stand for long periods of time

· Availability between 5:00 am to 1 pm, shifts are typically 8 hours a day

· Availability at other times, shifts are typically 8 hours a day

Additional qualifications we would like to see:

· Cake decorating skills and creativity

· Experience with laminated dough

· Experience with natural leavened dough

· Familiarity with large-scale production methods and machinery

· Servsafe, HACCP and any other regulatory qualifications

· Computer skills
