Job Details Level Experienced Job Location Lakewood Ranch - Bradenton, FL Education Level High School or equivalent experience Job Shift Full-Time - regular business hours Description Provides clerical and administrative support for donor services operations. Functions as a Hospital Services Tech if needed.
Provides clerical and administrative support to IRL and Hospital Services department.
Provides training in the use of hospital ordering software for consignment hospital staff.
Reviews Blood Products and Services Issued forms to assure proper accounting of products issued and laboratory services rendered.
Performs daily reconciliation of billing report.
Maintains and updates the monthly consignment report.
Maintains and updates the weekly Blood Usage and Outdate reports.
Maintains and updates daily Import and Export reports and send to appropriate staff members.
Assists with the import or export of products as needed.
Complies with purchasing and expense control procedures.
Assists with the ordering reagents and supplies for the department.
Distributes department mail to appropriate staff or facility.
Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Other duties as assigned to fulfill the organization's mission and vision.
Qualifications Education: High School or equivalent experience Licensure: None Experience: 4 years laboratory administrative support or other equivalent experience Light Work - Much of work done while sitting, but with more than normal standing or walking. Occasionally exerting between 20-60 lbs. of force to lift or move objects.
