Job Description:

The Security Analyst will be responsible for safeguarding SumnerOne’s information systems, networks, and data from potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Your expertise and proactive approach will mitigate risks by monitoring security events, analyzing security incidents, and implementing security measures. As the Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall security posture of SumnerOne.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor alerts, analyze incidents, and identify threats.
• Investigate incidents, collaborate with response teams, and document activities.
• Conduct assessments and address weaknesses with relevant teams.
• Maintain and optimize security tools.
• Stay informed, analyze feeds, and adapt security measures.
• Document incidents, investigations, and provide reports.
• Assist in developing and enforcing security policies.
• Contribute to awareness programs and educate employees.
• Work closely with your team, incident response, and administrators.
• Learn from incidents and enhance security controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security , CISSP, CEH) preferred.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and techniques.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and SIEM platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• Adaptability to evolving threats and technologies.
