Qualifications
Career Technical (4-12) license; Family and Consumer Science Education
Consideration given to candidates with Alternative or Supplemental Licensure issued by the Ohio Department of Education
Prefer high school experience;
Demonstrate strong and sufficient competencies in instructional content areas;
Additional consideration for those applicants with previous experience in a high school environment
Must have appropriate, valid certification or license to teach the assigned content area as recognized by the Ohio Department of Education
Thorough knowledge, understanding, and appreciation for the learning process and the nature and growth of children
Proficiency in teaching, i.e. - demonstrate ability to adapt his/her knowledge of educational methodology and variety of instructional techniques for the benefit of students in the learning environment
Satisfactory background check investigation (BCI and FBI) and drug screening
Salary and benefits per the negotiated SLACT contract.
