The Summit Community Care Clinic (SCCC) Collections Specialist will promote, maintain, and improve individual and community health by supporting patients in adopting healthy behaviors. Provides the full range of billing services for the SCCC departments, including Medical, Behavioral Health, Dental, and Reproductive Services.

The Collections Specialist must demonstrate regard for the rights of all patients and provide respectful and considerate care focused on the patient's individual needs. The Collections Specialist will provide a safe and confidential environment for patients, families, and personnel. This person must be bilingual (Spanish/English). Essential Functions:

• Outreaches patients by telephone for payment collection.
• Researches and responds by telephone and in writing to patient inquiries regarding
• Outreaches patients by telephone to update bad address information in relation to sending billing statements.
• Performs clerical tasks e.g.: mail pick up and sorting.
• Processes and scans mail into appropriate folders or delivers to Main Clinic.
• Sets up recurring payment plans in Aprima and maintains agreement paperwork.
• Answers patient phone calls regarding payments and posts to Aprima.
• Ensures strict confidentiality of financial HIPAA compliance.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties such as Patient Eligibility, Web Portal, or phone payments.
• Is proficient in understanding all Care Clinic discount
• Is proficient in Spanish.
