Summerville Advantage Academy is Hiring a Remote Before and After Care Director - Summerville Advantage Academy
Essential Duties:
Oversees Day-to-Day Operations of Before and Aftercare Program
Oversees registration of students into program.
Monitors staff and students.
Oversees proper student sign-in and dismissal procedures for Before Care.
Oversees proper student check-in and dismissal procedures for After Care. (ID is REQUIRED even if they know the person picking up and must be verified with the pick-up list)
Observes who enters and leaves childcare area.
Create daily schedule of instructional activities for staff to follow.
Orders snacks and supplies and ensures proper storage and use.
Maintains Eleyo Childcare Management registration and fee program.
Responsible for entering student information and attendance in aftercare computer system.
Maintains up to date data base of customers.
Plans budget in collaboration with CSA Program Manager for After Care or designee.
Obtains and reviews financial records, identifies discrepancies, and confers with the CSA Program Manager for After Care or designee.
Avoids unwarranted aftercare operations costs.
Maintains balance due/aging report of less than $1000.00
Ensures compliance to Budget.
Maintains accurate financial records.
Prepares, forwards, and maintains files of records and reports required by the After-School Snack Program.
Implements curriculum according to calendar and guidelines provided
Organizes materials for age specific crafts, activities and other programs
Coordinates contracted activities such as ballet, piano lessons, guitar, lessons, karate, etc.
Organizes Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring Camp, and.is available to cover staff children on workdays.
Works with the program manager and marketing department to promote care and camp opportunities.
Maintenance of safe and welcoming environment.
Encourages students to maintain standards of behavior in compliance with student handbook.
Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, staff, equipment, materials and facilities.
Communicates well with parents.
Always maintains a professional attitude.
Complies with ancillary programs such as School Readiness.
May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree or certification as a childcare provider
Must have prior experience operating a childcare program
CPR trained
Computer literacy; proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Organized, energetic, innovative and professional.
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written English communication skills.
