Vivo Healthcare University is looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our healthcare team. The Assistant Director of Nursing will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee and coordinate nursing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent clinical knowledge, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care policies and procedures.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
• Monitor patient outcomes and quality of care, implementing improvements as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of nursing practice.
• Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of nursing staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff on a regular basis.
• Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and their families, addressing concerns and facilitating communication as needed.

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, in a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology.
