Summary:
Manages the workflow and employees for areas assigned efficiently while maintaining a positive and pleasant working environment. Coordinates the daily operations relative to patient care and managing physicians’ schedules. Maintains positive employee morale, oversees computerized patient management system functions and generally ensures any and all office matters are handled effectively, professionally, and in an expeditious manner. Keeps Practice Manager informed of appropriate activities in the practice.
Formal Education Required:
a. High School graduate or equivalent, Associate’s degree preferred
Experience & Training Required:
a. Three (3) years of previous medical office experience (i.e., Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist; Referral Coordinator); Physician office setting preferred
b. Experience with computerized patient management system.
