Bartender Description:

Our company is looking for skilled & ambitious contracted Bartenders that will foster the growth of the Sugar Rimz company. Our Bartenders take on the name "Sugartender".A Sugartender is an experienced Sugar Rimz bartender who specializes in eccentric Mixology. Sugartenders have a focus on taste variation and unique cocktail visuals, ultimately giving every Sugar Rimz customer a cocktail Experience they have never received before. With hospitality professionalism being a must, the ultimate goal of the Sugartender is to give the Sugar Rimz customer supreme customer service.Customers should Imagine booking the bartenders of a "Mobile" 5 -Star Restaurant for their event, simply because of how the sugartender has cultivated their customer experience. Sugartenders must guarantee to make every guest and host experience the most amazing hospitality from the comfort of their home, job or venue choice.

 Sugartenders are the sole representation of our company and we encourage organized and professional candidates to apply.

Your responsibilities will include the ability to:

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks
• Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Increasing the on-site leads for Sugar Rimz Sales and engagement
• Representing Sugar Rimz in a tasteful manner on and off event scenes.
• Responsible for the Sugartender image on social media.
• Promotion of Sugar Rimz company and events on Sugar Rimz Social media. 
• As long as employed at Sugar Rimz, will be responsible for placing Sugar Rimz personal sugartender page on all personal and active social media. 
• Responsible for the constant promotion of the Sugar Rimz Brand and Company. 

What You’ll Bring 

• Proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate ( bartending certificate and/ or bassett certificate) 
• Ability to diligently complete paperwork after every shift
• Ability to multitask and work with teams

Mandatory Requirements ( Requirement Question) 

-Must not currently or in the future own or work for a mobile bartending company 

Must be able to complete: 

1. 2 unpaid "on the job" shadows at a scheduled Sugar Rimz event. (3-5 hours long),
2. Be compliant with online preliminary trainings, basset licensing and onboarding within 3 days after contractor position offer
3. Complete 1 unpaid orientation (5 hours long w/ meal included)
4. Complete 1 unpaid cocktail intensive class within 1.5 weeks after contractor position offered

-Must be willing to take future unpaid critical cocktail classes with Sugar Rimz if evaluation scores are low. 

-If you do not have your basset license you must be willing to get before the start of your first shadow. 

-Must be available Evenings Friday- Sunday 

-Must have Reliable Transportation & Travel up to 50 miles within the Chicagoland area

-Must be open to a background check

-Must sign a Non compete form & non disclosure form 

-Must be able to Lift up to 10-25lbs

-Must be able to travel to Chicago and the surrounding suburbs ( 1 hour travel) 

- Must be 21 years or older

-Must accept an hourly tip wage of $7.80 an hour or basic combined cash & tip wage rate of $15/hour

-Must agree to be filmed or photographed for Sugar Rimz proprietary marketing purposes owning all media during and after offered contractor position

- Must agree to post on personal social media and/or create social media page on Instagram & facebook for the promotion of Sugar Rimz Brand

-Must be willing to take a background check

-Being recorded for marketing and promotional purposes

-Must be comfortable with standing for at least 4 hours?

-Can not decline more than 3 shifts per month or will be terminated from contract

-Must be able to access zoom and have a phone that is able to download appropriate Sugar Rimz applications/ Programing. 

-Must be able to accept sometimes impromptu training. 

-Must be optimistic, encouraging and positive amongst the Sugar Rimz team.

Compensation & Benefits

-Contractor wage of $7.20/hour tips- with a Basic Combined Cash & Tip Minimum Wage Rate $15/Hour
