Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a series of fast-paced projects in a creative and time sensitive manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with the sales team, outside designers, and fabricators.
- Work independently, manage your own tasks and schedule efficiently.
- Rapidly understand design intent and ensure suitable components are specified and ordered.
- Effectively communicate and manage project design and manufacturing details with both in-house production manager and fabricators, as well as with overseas vendors sub-contracted for component fabrications to ensure product timelines and quality objectives are met.
This is an office-based position in Los Angeles (some domestic and overseas travel required).
Skills/Experience:
- Must possess good communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and a high sensitivity for proportions and design.
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
- Experience in custom lighting fabrication desirable.
Qualifications:
- AutoCAD and 3D modeling (SolidWorks preferred) knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
- Working knowledge of metal fabrication (welding and sheet metal) methods is required.
- Knowledge of electrical and illumination techniques is desireable.
Compensation:
Compensation is commensurate based on experience in the industry, with the compensation range being from $75,000-$100,000 annually.
