Student is Hiring a Dining Services - Business Administrative Assistant Near Ithaca, NY

Responsibilities

Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support to the Assistant Director of Campus Retail Dining Operations.
  • Assist in managing and organizing departmental documents, reports, and records.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.

Communication:

  • Handle incoming communications, emails, and phone calls on behalf of the Assistant Director.
  • Draft and proofread official correspondence and documents.

Data Entry and Analysis:

  • Assist in data entry and maintenance of departmental databases.
  • Support in collecting and analyzing data relevant to campus dining operations.

Financial Support:

  • Assist in tracking and managing business sales and projections.
  • Process sales and transaction reports and maintain accurate records.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departmental staff and university personnel as required.
  • Support cross-functional projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as a college student with a minimum of sophomore standing as a Business major.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively.

Pay Rate: $15.30
