Student Book Store East Lansing is Hiring a Part Time Sales Associate Near East Lansing, MI
Job Overview:
We are seeking motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associates to join our team immediately with the opportunity for employment during the fall 2024 fall semester for our Green and White Shop and Cashier departments. As a Sales Associate, you will be interacting with customers in store and on the phone, stocking merchandise, running a cash register, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products in store and over the phone
- Pricing, stocking and warehousing of merchandise
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
Job Experience:
- Strong customer service skills
- Working and interacting with the public of all age groups in a fast-paced environment
- Previous retail and cashier experience
This is a customer service, on your feet, and handling of merchandise position. Part time schedule to include weekdays, some evenings and alternating Saturdays and Sundays. Candidates must not have MSU football tickets for the fall semester. MSU and LCC students a plus. (We will work around your class schedule)
We are also taking applications for fall book rush and fall semester starting mid to late August.

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
