Business Development Assistant to the CEO

Reports To:

Executive Manager

Responsibilities:

• Assist in introductory email, mail, and phone campaigns.
• Manage appointment tracking agenda creation, distribution, and aerial image setup.
• Assist with set up and management of vendor platforms for compliance.
• Secure appointments, on behalf of the CEO/National Account Manager, with profile facilities management decision makers from targeted National and Regional Accounts.
• Engage in follow-up and follow through sales development activities; with the objective of nurturing opportunities into proposals and turning proposals into contracts.
• Backup support for Requests for Proposal/Quotes (RFP/RFQ), as needed.
• Backup support for proposal development and client letters for sales professionals, as needed.
• Enhance the business development activities for the company through special projects and assignments, as designated.
• Support the top salesperson’s business development activities.
• Support client calls – schedule and attend meetings with National Account Manager, take notes, and follow up communication.
• Provide timely, accurate and effective follow-up and follow through.
• Assist with proposal presentations, report presentations, strategic partnership discussions, and external workshops.
• Create charts, documents, reports, and power point presentations for the CEO as requested.
• Backup support for managing and maintaining the CEO’s schedule making appointments and changes.
• File and retrieve documents and reference materials.
• Create and distribute paperwork to assist in project set up and startup.
• Attend internal and external kick off meetings.
• All other duties as apparent or assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of previous sales experience.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high intensity work environment.
• Ability to work 45-50 hours in office weekly.
• Ability to work as part of a team, effectively supporting other colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
