SUMMARY

Manages sales activities of organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors, as it relates to pricing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Including but not limited to:

* Develops and implements strategic sales and marketing plans to accommodate corporate goals and win new business.

* Managing selling process with emphasis on closing the deal.

* Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.

* With the Product Teams, make customer and product specific strategic plans and recommendations in concert with the corporate long range plan.

* Develops product and platform targets for new business which includes service product pricing/selling.

* Reviews market analyses to determine industry trends, market pricing, and competitive analysis.

* Responsible for price negotiations of current and new business activity and changes.

* Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations for direct reports.

* Manages quotation and purchase order processes.

* Support program management activities within customer platform team.

* Assists in introducing new products and technologies.

* Assist is advanced engineering efforts.

* With the Product Teams, make business decisions/recommendations based on financial & strategic position.

* With the Product Teams, monitor and provide high level direction in regards to new program development activities, customer satisfaction, profitability and new business opportunities.

* Develops sales contact plan, and maintains extraordinary relationship with customer purchasing, engineering, quality, vehicle platform, and assembly plant contacts.

* Develops sales presentations to support new business opportunities and to communicate company capabilities and vision. Delivers sales presentations to key clients.

* Responsible for Executive quote reviews.

* Responsible for Maximizing Profitability

* Responsible for any Customer-based Monthly (bi-Monthly) Management Reviews.

* Responsible for following all processes and procedures to support SSC policies and governmental regulations.

* Manages sales assistant, account manager, or advanced engineer, as appropriate. The sales assistant and account manager would support Director of Sales in daily correspondence and communication, purchase order tracking, prototype orders, and other related responsibilities necessary to accomplish corporate objectives. 

* Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent. Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years automotive sales management experience. Previous sales experience with Stellantis (previously FCA) is required.

Sales management of Stellantis commodities with electronic content is preffered.

Technical understanding of automotive products.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to cope with and manage difficult situations. Experience in negotiations.

Excellent presentation skills.

Ability to travel.

Previous supervisory experience.
