Stratos Wealth Partners in Beachwood, Ohio is looking for an enthusiastic, responsible HR Intern to perform various administrative tasks and support our HR department this Summer. Full time hours are available in the Summer, could lead to part time hours after if the candidate is the right fit. Ultimately, you will assist in organizing and coordinating our HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support recruiting functions such as posting, updating and removing job postings from Paylocity, screening resumes and performing initial phone screenings. 
• Assist with the onboarding of new staff employees.
• Update our internal database with employee information. 
• Review and distribute company policies and assign trainings in Paylocity.
• Participate in organizing company events and career fairs.
• Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents; copy, scan, fax, etc. as needed.
• Assist the Director of HR with projects as needed.

Requirements

• Current college student majoring in an HR related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Good Organizational skills.
• Self-directed and able to work without supervision, able to work in a fast-paced work atmosphere.
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
• Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines, and have a friendly, positive personality. Previous office experience a plus.
• Ability to work comfortably with all levels within the organization from entry-level to senior management and operate at the highest level of discretion and confidentiality.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
