Strategic Workforce Development is Hiring an Environmental Specialist Near Lees summit, MO

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Follow job cards and Corporate Cleaning Group procedures

Learn all runs for assigned building.

Perform cleaning duties, such as, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, trash removal, restocking supplies, glass cleaning and general wipe downs.

Perform weekly/monthly detail schedule, as outlined on job cards/ checklists.

Follow good safety practices, such as, placing signs nearby to alert others that the floor may be wet and slippery. Ensure that all solvents and chemical cleaners are used according to safety regulations and guidelines.

Follow proper equipment operation and maintenance; such as, replace vacuum bags and filters, check and refill water in auto scrubber batteries, etc.

Receive inspection feedback from leadership; address issues from inspection asap and report corrections to Supervisor.

Turn off lights, lock and secure the facility as required.

Ensure Maintenance Monday practices are followed.

Complete clean within budgeted hours and report variances to Supervisor.

Ensure inventory of cleaning supplies is maintained at sufficient levels to support upcoming activities by stocking closets regularly or reporting needed items to Supervisor.

TIME SCHEDULE: Part time 

PT M-F 6- 9 pm or 6- 10 pm

M-F 9am- 1 pm or 10 am- 2pm.

Weekend shifts also available and some locations have flexible scheduling.

Willing to create a FT scenario for a strong candidate if their available and able to work at 2-3 different locations. Most of the open positions are NOT on a bus line, so reliable transportation is mandatory.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to follow written and verbal directions.

Ability to work well with others, and work alone.

Ability to communicate clearly via text, phone, or in person.

Organized and able to to adapt to changing schedules or routines; excellent time management skills.

Strong attention to details

Able to work the required schedule for the location.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

May be exposed to disagreeable odors, dust, heat and cold.

Must be physically able to stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine for long periods of time.

Physically able to operate equipment for extended periods of time; and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds intermittently.
