A Painter is a professional responsible for preparing surfaces and applying paint to them. Here are some of the key responsibilities and requirements of a painter:

Responsibilities:

1. Reading blueprints/instructions and examining surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary¹.
2. Making on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc¹.
3. Preparing walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc¹.
4. Filling cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g., plaster
