SSU is currently recruiting for a Joint Combined Exchange Training (JCET) Manager to support United States Special Operation Command – Korea (SOCKOR). This opportunity is an on-site / office position for an active contract.

Location: USAG - Humphreys, ROK

Security Clearance: TS, SCI eligible

Duties and Responsibilities

The JCET Manager shall support the mission of providing qualified SOF operators in an overseas combined training event with a focus on mission-essential tasks, particularly Foreign Internal Defense and unconventional warfare, with Host Nation foreign forces. Duties shall include, but are not limited to:

• Provide subject matter expertise regarding JCET authorities and associated areas of interest.
• Prepare and complete staff actions pertaining to JCET planning, coordination, deployment notifications and deployment orders within HQ, SOCKOR.
• Provide support to information management of the JCET program via the SOCKOR and USSOCOM portal.
• Draft and present briefings referencing all duties and responsibilities regarding the JCET program.
• Provide support to USSOCOM regarding formulation and execution of the JCET budget for SOCKOR.
• Provide all services to SOCKOR SOJ3 in support of training, planning, analysis of policy and supporting Joint/Combined exercises.
• Coordinate with and brief Department of State, up to the Ambassador level, for JCET execution concurrence.
• Live and work in an operational environment when required (e.g., semiannual exercises operating from CP Tango, FOS-I, USAG-Daegu).
• The work of this position is sedentary; however, light physical effort is required.
• The work is typically performed in an adequately lit and climate-controlled office.
• This position shall be designated a Mission Essential Contractor (MEC).

Qualifications:

• Fluently speak, read, and write English.
• Five years’ experience in SOF
• Five years JCET planning and execution experience.
• Three years’ experience of strategic-level planning on a General Officer/SES staff.
• Formal military education in writing skills to develop orders, directives, messages, and policies at the sub-unified command level.
• Valid Top Secret//SCI security clearance
• Familiarity with the use of Microsoft and SharePoint products
• Ability to work in a high tempo, high stress environment with minimal oversight.
• Valid Korean or International Driver’s License
