Job Description

Administrative Support – DEERS/RAPIDS Army Project Office

Strategic Resources, Inc. (SRI) is an international, ISO 9001:2015 Certified, CMMI Maturity Level 3 Rated full-service provider with more than 35 years’ experience in the Federal, military, and commercial marketplaces. .

Overview: SRI issues Identification Cards and Common Access Cards (CAC), with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and provides program support services for the United States Army Project Office (APO). The APO serves as the uniformed services executive agent regarding the Defense Enrollment Reporting System (DEERS), the Real-Time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS), and Identification Cards. The APO assists the United States Army staff with development of Army Identification Card policy, developing personnel procedural guidelines, and assisting in publishing AR 600-8-14. The APO implements Department of Defense policy and procedures to all Army inquiries regarding DEERS enrollment, ID Card policy, and procedural interpretations.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to the Army Project Office and works with the contract Program Manager and other team members to achieve program success.
  • Assists in a broad spectrum of tasks associated with program execution.
  • Develops and maintains a filing system for management of program-related correspondence.
  • Prepares correspondence in accordance with Army regulations.
  • Copies, distributes, and maintains program records and files.
  • Assists with generating reports, briefings and other correspondence using Power Point, Word, Excel, and other software as required.
  • Maintains a shared master calendar for all team members to access and update key events and milestones.
  • Coordinates and drafts meeting agendas and minutes, and publishes minutes taken at assigned meetings.
  • Maintains technical library and correspondence points of contact.
  • Archives program material and dispose of material as approved by the PM or designated representative.
  • Assist with development and review of program-related staff education requirements facilitating staff transition to the new facility.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Associate degree or higher education required.
  • Five years of experience providing administrative support to the government.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Sound organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of standing operating procedures and the ability to interpret guidance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Power Point, Excel, Word, Access.
  • Be a U.S. citizen.
