Position Overview:

The Contracts and Proposals Manager will lead the budget development process for Request for Proposals/Information (RFP/RFI) and Change Orders while managing timelines to support an efficient, high-quality, and timely submission. Lead initiatives to maximize the quality of RFP submissions and perform change order analysis. You will also help train/mentor other team members.

To be successful in this role you will be experienced with proposals, budgeting, change order analysis, and have prior experience in a clinical research organization or with a large pharmaceutical company.

Duties Include:

• Manage the RFP/RFI submission process and timelines to exceed customer expectations and facilitate an efficient, high quality, and timely submission per SOP requirements.
• Develop draft budgets including scope changes and proposal texts based on strategic parameters.
• Schedule and participate in strategy call and budget review call in accordance with submission timelines.
• Works in conjunction with Project Management, Finance, and Vendor Management to manage activities relating to initial budgets, change in scope/change order requests and vendor quotes for remote visits and clinical activities.

Other requirements for this position include:

• Bachelor's Degree – finance background in healthcare preferred
• Minimum 2 - 3 years in proposal development preferably in CRO managing vendor/client contract relations.
• Intermediate proficiency with Excel a must.
