Career Opportunity: Billing Specialist/Collections (Corporate Office) - Oxford Physical Therapy Centers

The Billing Specialist will work at our corporate office located in Mason, OH and be responsible for:

• Billing claims (both paper & electronic versions).
• Entering all personal and insurance receipts into the computer system.
• Balancing payments with deposit each day.
• Noting in patient's computer record any EOBs for non-payment status, and correct EOBs with errors in billing.
• Billing secondary insurance.
• Correcting any claim clearinghouse error reports
• Calling insurance companies regarding payment status or denials of payment.
• Resubmitting claims for any non-paid CPT Codes.
• Assisting patients with their account balances.
• Maintaining strictest confidentiality; adhering to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
• Attending all mandatory meetings and training sessions applicable per management.

Bring your exceptional customer service skills, friendly attitude, and high attention to detail, along with the following:

• High school graduate.
• Computer experience & typing accuracy.
• Knowledge of insurance reimbursement, including medical billing.
• Ability to operate a computer, calculator, copier, scanner and other basic office equipment.
• Skill in answering a telephone in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, fellow co-workers and the public.
• Desire and ability to learn quickly in a team environment.
