STRATASCORP is Hiring an Enterprise Network Engineer Near Pensacola, FL
Our team supporting Military Sealift Command (MSC) in Pensacola, FL has an immediate need for an Enterprise Network Engineer at our Network Operation Center (NOC) with demonstrated experience supporting routing, switching, and firewall devices for an enterprise-level network. Primary responsibilities include:
* Manage Cisco ASA firewalls, Identity Services Engine (ISE), core and edge switches, routers
* Support the NOC network and MSC shipboard networks to ensure network services are provided in an uninterrupted fashion
* Troubleshoot and analyze failures using available tools and an expert knowledge of the OSI model
* Compile and provide reports to MSC leadership to diagnose and analyze issues with the network services provided by the NOC
* Analyze, plan, implement, and document security measures that meet DISA security requirements (STIGs) to maintain Information Assurance (IA) compliance for the enterprise
* Schedule and conduct system upgrades and installations for new network equipment
* Must possess an IAT II-level security certification (or higher) as outlined in DoD 8570.01-M
* Must have a CCNA or higher-level Cisco networking certification
* Must have at least 4 years of progressive enterprise-level network administration experience; more is preferable
* Must possess knowledge and/or skill in some or all of the following areas: administration of enterprise-level Cisco firewalls/routers/switches, IDS/IPS, ACLs, IPSec, VPNs, LAN/WAN installation and configuration, DoD network security compliance requirements, 802.1x authentication implementation
