Our team, supporting Military Sealift Command (MSC) in Pensacola, FL, is sourcing an MSC Network Operations Center (MNOC) Technical Incident Manager to identify applicable incidents, distribute them to the proper working group, and document updates and resolutions in accordance with NOC direction. Specific duties include:
* Monitor Remedy incident tracking system and identify all incidents assigned to MNOC queues
* Confirm all MNOC incidents are assigned properly, reassigning if necessary to the appropriate queue, and that incident updates and closures are timely and contain the required information
* Generate incident reports and provide them to MNOC and StratasCorp contract leadership
* Identify and track relevant incident metrics, such as average time to resolution and average open incident age, providing them to MNOC leadership for resource planning and priority determination
* Must possess current IAT II or higher security certification in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M
* Must have or be able to get within 6 months of hire, an appropriate Computing Environment or vendor certification for associated communications equipment being supported in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M
* Must have 4 years of progressive IT experience
* Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
* Must be able to travel as needed to support mission requirements
