Strata Homes is Hiring a Purchasing Manager Near Saint George, UT

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team. As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and possess excellent negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's needs

- Identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and qualifications

- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and delivery terms

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing requirements

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock

- Oversee the entire procurement process from requisition to payment

- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information

- Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues or concerns

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain management principles

- Proficient in using purchasing systems to manage procurement activities; Builder Trend.

- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing from suppliers

- Ability to analyze data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and make informed purchasing decisions

- Experience working with fabricators or manufacturers is preferred

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

- Proven track record of successfully managing procurement operations

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
