We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated accountant to perform general accounting functions for our thirty-six small entities. In this role, you'll play an important role in our company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting and compliance with the law. This position reports to the Accounting Manager for small entities and works closely with the accounts payable personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily bank reconciliations of all bank accounts related to small entities, report cash balances to senior executives
• Reconciliation and review of accounts receivables for all entities (Monthly rental income from tenants)
• Record daily sales, lotto entries and cash deposits for two restaurants
• Record payroll for multiple entities
• Perform journal entries to reconcile accounts per direction from accounting manager
• Assist with month-end closing preparation, reporting and other requests; including but not limited to assisting in and/or completing month end workpapers for entities
• Create and file all necessary sales tax

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets:

• General accountant with a thorough working knowledge of subsidiary ledgers such as, but not limited to, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an accounting-related field
• Proficiency in accounting software and bookkeeping programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum of two years’ experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial modeling
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Self-starter and motivator

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
