Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check customers' identification to verify they are of legal drinking age
- Adhere to all relevant food safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
- Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and practices
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Strong sales skills and the ability to upsell products
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change accurately
- Understanding of restaurant operations and customer service principles
