With roots dating back to 1897, Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC (SKO) is a well-established, dynamic law firm with 170 attorneys across Kentucky and Indiana dedicated to delivering exceptional legal services. As we continue to expand our reach and impact, we are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Manager-Indiana to join our team.

This position will reside in the Indianapolis office, reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.

Position Overview:

SKO is in search of a skilled Marketing Manager to execute marketing and business development projects in support of Attorney and firm-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a versatile professional with a strong background in various aspects of marketing, including media and public relations, social media, content creation, campaign management, and event planning/management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute integrated marketing campaigns in support of Members/Attorneys in the Indianapolis and Evansville, IN markets.
  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including campaign ideation, planning, execution, and performance analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Partner with external agencies and vendors to support marketing initiatives and projects.
  • Support attorney credentialing program for Indiana.
  • Develop event timelines, budgets, logistics plans, and source vendors and venues, ensuring all details are accounted for and executed according to schedule.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success, gather feedback, and identify areas of improvement.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of client and office information and adhering to the Firm’s Core Values.
  • Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A strong work ethic, service orientation, and an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with users, peers, office, firm management, and outside business partners.
  • Ability to work extended hours as necessary to fulfill time sensitive responsibilities.
  • Occasional local/regional travel required.

Qualifications:

  • 7 years of relevant experience preferred, ideally in a law firm or analogous professional services organization.
  • Experience in marketing roles with a focus on digital marketing, content creation, social media, campaign execution, and event management.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns, preferably in a business-to-business setting.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and platforms, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and analytics tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A high degree of comfort in liaising with firm leadership and management
  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with a Content Relationship Management (CRM) system is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
