Purpose and Objective: SAP Emarsys US Field Marketing Manager connects the global marketing team with the respective region. As the Regional Field Marketing Manager you will take ownership of field programs from inception to end results: understand field needs, define program and success measurement, ensure alignment with global segment objectives, and deliver all aspects of the program locally.

As regional brand ambassador, the field marketing manager keeps the local teams informed about marketing activities and results and passes local key findings back to the global team.

Expectations and Tasks: 

  • Work closely with Global Head of Field Marketing on defining and implementing region-specific marketing plan in alignment with global strategy
  • Define local marketing goals and KPIs
  • Use omnichannel marketing best practices
  • Track your marketing campaigns and determine the most successful ones
  • Prepare and present reports on campaign success and deliverables
  • Evaluate and analyze marketing programs and sales pipeline to effectively make decisions on programs that drive the most regional impact
  • Work with sales management and regional directors to create quarterly territory plans that generate market awareness and drive leads in territory
  • Lead campaign efforts through earned, owned and paid media strategies that drive account and territory goals·
  • Work closely with marketing peers across the department to build needed campaign materials including landing pages, emails and automation that enable effective sales qualification·
  • Serve as the go-to-resource for territory managers. Prepare regular communications to sales directors to ensure proper campaign alignment and execution.
  • Develop co-branded marketing activities with in-territory partners that uncover joint opportunities for sales to pursue
  • Identify and execute regional events that support marketing goals across vertical and horizontal audiences
  • Allocate the assigned budget for the respective region and track all spendings
  • Provide feedback to relevant departments in global marketing about special requirements due to regional and cultural differences.
  • Support with localization and review of marketing materials if needed.

Work Experience/Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree holder, preferably in Marketing & Communication, or Event Management
  • Min. 4 years of working experience in digital media, marketing or event management
  • Good understanding of email, social, mobile and Marketing Automation
  • Experience in organizing events
  • Be a meticulous planner and able to execute within tight timeframes and budgets
  • Capable of multi-tasking and co-ordinating multiple events simultaneously
  • Good understanding of Excel to assist updating budget spread sheets
  • Good understanding of Salesforce.com to update activities in a timely fashion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and being generally a good communicator
  • Fluent in oral and written English
  • Be a results driven, passionate individual, and a good team player
