Envelop Group is Hiring a Marketing Manager Near Indianapolis, IN

Envelop Group is a family of companies focused on the design, installation, and ongoing optimization of custom facility technologies that impact every square foot of a building's operations. We work with contractors, building owners, and consulting engineers to provide all the technologies needed for the most advanced, efficient, and secure operation of any facility. As an employee of Envelop Group, you will support all of our companies.

We are looking for a versatile Marketing Manager to create and execute our overall marketing strategy. In this newly created role, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for implementation of marketing programs, brand guidelines conception and design efforts, website administration, creation and execution of digital strategy, and collateral creation and management. As a team of 1, this position will work with all levels within the organization including senior leadership, sales team members, external vendors, and others to help foster a strong internal and external corporate brand.

This is a full-time role located in our downtown Indianapolis, IN office.

What you'll do:

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, content marketing, and social media to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to make data-based decisions.
  • Establish brand guidelines and brand strategy for all companies within the Envelop family.
  • Serve as a writer and editor, both in creating original pieces and in polishing material produced by other team members for customer communications, webinars, newsletters, and other thought leadership content.
  • Prepare presentations and proposals for new business development providing recommendations with a focus on ensuring that all materials meet established standards for branding and messaging.
  • Create and maintain the marketing library of standard company boilerplates and other collateral materials.
  • Maintain and promote positive relationships with the local media, community groups, and industry associations.
  • Coordinate preparation of award applications and presentations.
  • Manage the procurement of print (i.e., business cards, stationery, name tags, etc.) and apparel (i.e., shirts, sweaters, jackets, etc.) items for the company.
  • Provide marketing education and training for tools and resources, as well as provide technical assistance to users of those specific tools.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or graphic design and/or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience.
  • Excited about both creating and executing marketing strategies.
  • Strong copyrighting, project management, multitasking and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement marketing, communications, and public relations strategies and activities for both external and internal use.
  • Experience in content management, creative writing, technical writing, advertising concepts, social media, print, media negotiations, and digital marketing.
  • Strong organization, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Confident personality with the ability to think strategically and help teams develop sound marketing, pursuit, and proposal strategies.
  • Proven ability to effectively navigate through ambiguous situations.
  • Proficiency in Office 365/Microsoft Office applications, specifically Teams, PowerPoint and Word.

Pre-hire requirements include a drug test and a background check.
