EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR RN - HOSPICE WANTED
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, policies, and procedures related to hospice and Medicare/Medicaid issues on a daily basis.
- Hiring qualified individuals for all staff positions and taking responsibility for daily agency operations.
- Being available on-site during business hours or by phone while conducting agency business off-site and also being available after hours as needed.
- Providing oversight for hospice operations to ensure agency success.
- Offering support and coaching to the hospice team.
- Conducting interviews and selecting potential employees.
- Ensuring hospice policies and procedures comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Communicating with patients, patient family members, and physicians regarding patient care.
- Monitoring hospice census and staffing trends.
- Maintaining the departmental budget and financials.
- Overseeing the implementation of policies, procedures, and quality improvement programs.
- Active RN license in the state
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of five years of leadership experience
- Strong financial skills, including experience with profit and loss statements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve organizational goals
