We are currently seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to join our fast-growing team. As a licensed clinician, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Job Description

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with their treatment plans. This includes administering manual physical exercises, instructing and encouraging patients in non-manual exercises, assisting with ambulatory functional activities, and helping with daily-living activities.

Additionally, you will apply assistive and supportive care to ensure our patients receive the best possible treatment.

You will also be responsible for assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results, determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians, and documenting patient care services in compliance with legal and professional requirements.

Your Duties Will Include :

• Following up with home health orthopedic patients
• Continuing to meet eligibility requirements for home health services
• Providing maintenance therapy
• Driving to patient's homes when necessary

Qualifications :

• Graduation from an accredited Assistant Therapy Assistant Program
• In-state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• At least 1 year of home health experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Strong caring interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
