SDMI is seeking a Medical Guarantor Collections Specialist to join our team!

A Day in the Life as a Medical Guarantor Collections Specialist:You will work guarantor accounts by either phone or mail, taking payments over the phone, issuing and following up on payment plans and coding delinquent accounts for outside collections. Reconcile reports from the outside collection agency and submit payment / adjustment reports to the outside collection agency. Receive incoming calls to assist patients in understanding their account statements and the status of their charges. Update patient demographics and/or insurance plans via Intergy. Daily process patient statements, work the hardship queue in ECN, review the Experian Patient portal work list and handle any correspondence received via Wells Fargo lockbox, attorney request for balance reduction, HUD and Bankruptcy forms. Other duties as assigned.

You are an ideal candidate if you have…

• Previous experience working with Intergy (not required but preferred)

• Be at least 18 years of age and a high school graduate or equivalent
• Have previous collections experience 
• Have awareness of responsibility to protect patient information 
• Be a team player

You can expect to earn an hourly rate of $21
