Stein, LLC in partnership with TMS International, LLC is a leading provider of outsourced steel services, including raw materials purchasing, scrap management, scrap optimization, slag processing and metal recovery services to integrated steel mills, mini-mills and foundries. We have operations at over 70 plants throughout the U.S., Canada, Central & South America, Europe and Asia.

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Administrator to join our team located in Decatur, AL. This position will report directly to the Site Manager and will require to be on-site daily.

Schedule: Monday - Friday Day Shift Weekends only as needed

Maintenance Administrator Responsibilities

• Create Maintenance Work Orders for Repairs, Code Worksheets, Track the completion of those Work Orders
• Creating & completing Bill Of Ladings
• Tracking Component Replacements & Rebuilds
• Verify Parts Requests to be given to Purchasing
• Work with Vendors on ETA’s and shipping
• Verify stock of parts & supplies on site
• Organization of stockrooms
• Operate Forklift for shipments
• Communicate between Maintenance, Purchasing, & Operations
• Backup for Purchasing Agent

Maintenance Administrator Qualifications

• 1-2 years work experience in either a warehouse, industrial, or construction setting.
• Basic Computer Skills; Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• Data Entry experience preferred
• Efficient communication skills
• Willingness to learn & team player
• Some physical work required with exposure to outside elements
