Troy Regional Medical Center is Hiring a Registration clerk Near Troy, AL

Troy Regional is hiring a PRN Position in the Registration Offices. The Registration Clerk will register patients as they present to the facility for testing or admission.

This position will work closely with the physician's office or the Emergency Department to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed correctly, insurance verification / information is obtained and documented, and pre-authorization of benefits is initiated.

The individual is also responsible for accurately entering patient data into the accounting system and collecting applicable deductibles and co-payments at the time of service.

medical terminology helpful EXPERIENCE : One year of healthcare office experience is preferred. A working knowledge of basic medical office and insurance terminology is preferred.

Must be able to multi-task and work without supervision. Business telephone and communication skills are required. LICENSES / CERTIFICATES : Current Alabama driver's license Powered by JazzHR
