Steelite International is seeking an Application Support Specialist to join our IT team at Steelite International in Youngstown, Ohio. The Application Support Specialist will be responsible for providing first-level technical support and assistance to end-users within the organization for all software and application related issues. The ideal candidate should have experience with IT frameworks, good problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth and career development within the IT department. After-hours or weekend work may be required for special projects, system maintenance, or issues impacting business operations.

What are the qualifications and skills?
The ideal candidate must have:
· Strong familiarity with Windows environments (10/11, Server, etc).
o Basic knowledge of iOS and MacOS operating systems is preferred but not required.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other common business applications.
· Experience writing SQL queries.
· General understanding of relational databases, application and system architecture, and how those components integrate with each other.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
· Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
· Willingness to work collaboratively within a team and learn from experienced IT professionals.
· 2 – 3 years of application support experience
· Strong understanding of software and application fundamentals.
· Proven experience in providing technical support for software applications and systems in a corporate environment.
· Strong self-management and motivation with the ability to work effectively with high-level direction.
· Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
