This evaluator This position is housed in the Asheville office but covers a 4-county area. The selected candidate provides comprehensive vocational evaluation services to consumers with a range of disabilities, education levels, and work experience in order to assist with career planning needs which may include some form of training as well as job planning and placement. Job duties include: making insightful behavioral observations; administering, scoring, and interpreting an extensive variety of assessments instruments such as academic, achievement, work value, and vocational interests; analyzing consumers' medical, psychological, socio-economic, vocational and educational information; developing a written vocational evaluation plan for each client; synthesizing all of the information gathered in a clearly and concisely written report that offers comprehensive, useful recommendations; gathering occupational resource information; working cooperatively as a member of a unit and regional evaluation team; participating in multi-disciplinary teams and committees; partnering with consumers and their family members, employers, school personnel, and other community agencies/contacts; and performing other duties as assigned.
