Staff Development Specialist I
Broughton Hospital is currently accepting applications for a Staff Development Specialist l. The primary purpose of the Staff Development Department is to provide Hospital staff with training, in-service, and continuing education programs, which enables them to effectively fulfill job requirements, meet federal and state regulatory agency training/education standards, meet the needs as identified by continuous performance improvement findings, as well as to provide professional and personal growth opportunities and to meet the requirements of various professional organizations for re-licensure and recertification.
To receive credit for all your work history and credentials, you must list the information in the "Work Experience" section of your NC State application form. Any information listed under the text resume section; Additional Information or on an attachment will not be considered for qualifying credit. Qualified candidates must document on the application that they clearly possess the following:
-Documented Experience in creating training and/or educational materials.
-Documented experience in teaching adult learners.
-Documented experience in collaborating with various disciplines and/or areas within an organization.
Management Preferences (if applicable)
-2 years of documented experience in a healthcare setting.
-1 year of documented experience in a psychiatric facility.
-Certification to teach BLS/CPR and/or CPI to adult learners.
