Job Title: Information Security Supervisor

Where: Office of State Courts Administrator, Jefferson City, MO

Full-time: 40 hours

Starting Salary: $61,135.00

We have opportunities for individuals seeking meaningful work in providing administrative, business and information technology services to the Missouri courts.

We are recruiting to fill a Information Security Supervisor position to develop and recommend OSCA policies, procedures and methods to protect sensitive data and information from being compromised. The Information Security Officer Supervisor must create system security policies to eliminate computer hackers, viruses and other dangers associated with data security.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Manages the organization and operation of the Judicial Department’s Information Security Operations
  • Understands, advocates usage of, and ensures infrastructure alignment to information and application architecture principles, standards, and practices
  • Analyzes new project-level infrastructure architecture needs and recommend solutions and migration strategies compliant with future state enterprise infrastructure architecture
  • Analyzes existing project-level infrastructure architectures, detect critical deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvement compliant with future state enterprise infrastructure architecture
  • Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; and identifying integration issues

Desired skills and knowledge:

  • Considerable knowledge of the principles and practices of computer information technology
  • Considerable knowledge of agency’s automated information systems
  • Considerable knowledge of agency’s functions and their internal relationships
  • Considerable knowledge of continuing trends and developments in computer hardware and software

Minimum qualifications: (The following statement represents the minimum education and experience which will be used to determine qualifications of applicants. Additional experience above the minimum stated may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.)

Bachelor's degree with at least fifteen (15) semester hours in computer science, computer information systems, or closely related areas and three years of professional and technical computer information systems experience with at least one year of supervisory or team lead experience.
