About this Position:
This position will lead a team of individuals that will provide guidance for and manage the state of Missouri’s cloud security stack. To provide this guidance, the position requires a good understanding of cloud system architecture and design, networking, SIEM solutions, endpoint protection, data loss prevention, intrusion detection and prevention, web application and next-generation network firewalls, zero trust design, and an overall understanding of best security practices. This position will be responsible for updating infrastructure as code (IAS) when changes to our cloud security infrastructure need to be made and will require keeping up to date on both native cloud security tools that are available as well as integration with third-party security tools to ensure that all layers are protected.

This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD), Office of Cyber Security (OCS).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise cloud initiatives across all consolidated agencies and external citizens.
• Define a charter, sponsors, stakeholders, team members, resources, deliverables, tasks, and dates along with metrics for success.
• Provide a project plan to represent a controlled and achievable implementation of the initiative deliverables.
• Work with vendors to define the technology roadmap and integrate it with a master project plan.
• Provide cloud initiatives that meet NIST 800.53 provisioning standards and comply with other regulations such as HIPAA, PII, FERPA, and CIJIS.
