HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

Our Associate\Customer Service Representative position is located within our Financial Services Bureau and will assist our MTAS section with batching, printing and keying work. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, as well as, basic knowledge of motor vehicle and driver’s procedures. This position will, also, assist Motor Vehicle and Driver’s license returned check customers regarding any returned check notices and questions.

DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

• Processing payments for return check customers via phone.
• Assisting returned check customers with questions and concerns.
• Interpreting and explaining regulations and policies to customers.
• Maintaining both an internal email and voicemail inbox.
• Batching MTAS mail received daily.
• Printing reports for mail received daily.
• Maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
• Assisting license offices with questions or concerns regarding deposits.
• Entering deposit totals into the MTAS accounting system, as needed.
• Processing monthly accounting and deposit corrections, as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
• Must be able to pass a fingerprint and background check.
