What you’ll do:

• This position will be responsible for managing an office of Litigation Attorneys that support and provide legal advice to the Department of Social Services (DSS) and its divisions, which includes Children’s Division, the Family Support Division, and the Division of Youth Services.
• Be responsible for maintaining a diverse case load including juvenile court, circuit court, and administrative hearing cases.
• Perform case analysis, issue spotting, time/calendar management, and case load organization.
• Work with other DSS team members including investigators, social workers, and court partners.

Minimum Qualifications: A Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution and member of the Missouri Bar. Five years experience in litigation with a background in juvenile and family law is preferred. Management experience is helpful but not necessary. Excellent research and writing skills are required.

Annual Starting Salary Range: $51,207.31-$62,568.27
