The Background Studies Division (BGS) in the Office of Inspector General is seeking two (2) Regulatory Compliance Consultants to join our new, fast-growing team. As a Compliance Consultant you will advise management and consult on regulatory compliance for all aspects of DHS’ statewide background study system and ensure adherence with access, use, handling, dissemination, storage, and destruction of criminal justice information (CJI) and criminal history records information (CHRI). BGS’ Compliance Consultants administer and assess areas of compliance and risk in addition to collaborating, planning, designing, developing, and implementing compliance initiatives and activities. Compliance consultants are responsible for delivering and executing foundational compliance responsibilities that support the team and management at an advanced level and will monitor compliance with state and federal background study laws that traverse publicly funded healthcare and human services programs.

Three (3) years of compliance or audit experience in regulatory or similar field.
