Job Summary

This position is intended to support the Center for Rural Behavioral Health and College of Allied Health & Nursing Mental Health Clinic. The Mental Health Clinic Manager is responsible for implementation of clinical services and programming including credentialing, overseeing electronic health records, clinical structure and flow, productivity and supervision of administrative assistants, student workers, clinical providers and student clinicians. The Mental Health Clinic Manager will also monitor budgets, grants funds and other financial aspects of clinic operations.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
  • Experience in credentialing with insurers, engage in third party billing and manage financial aspects of providing clinical services.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively sufficient to implement clinical service delivery, marketing materials and write proposals for contracts and grants to deliver them with an inclusive and equitable lens.
  • Ability to plan, organize and administer multiple projects, set priorities, and schedule activities.
  • Ability to work with little direct supervision, within general guidelines and State policies, in a flexible and adaptable manner, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to or willingness to learn how to foster relationships across marginalized communities to provide training that meets the needs of diverse mental health workforce and community.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing healthcare business affairs.
  • Experience in working with university faculty and staff.
