We are recruiting a full-time Mental Health Practitioner to provide services through our Mankato clinic. This position will work with our Day Treatment Program and Outpatient groups. Our Day Treatment Program is where clients, ages 13-18, are able to have their behavioral, emotional, and psychological needs met in both group format and individual 1-on-1 therapy with our CTSS team.

What you will be doing Provide/co-facilitate group and individual skills training directed toward meeting the identified treatment needs of each recipient as indicated in the client's treatment plan in the Day Treatment Program and Outpatient Program. This position may also provide in-home skills for the programs when needed. This position will collaborate with the CTSS team composed of Program Therapists and other mental health practitioners to assist with client care. Main focuses of skills training may include communication/conversation skills, coping skills, social skills and/or interpersonal abilities.

This is a full time role and the applicant selected will be eligible for Christian Family Solutions' full benefits package. Hours for this position are generally 8am- 5pm, Monday - Friday, with opportunities for additional hours with in-home skills.
Requirements
In accordance with Minnesota Statute 245I.04, subdivision 4, qualified applicants will meet one of the following requirements:
- Holds a master's or other graduate degree in behavioral sciences or related fields
- Completed 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related fields AND is working in a day treatment program
- Completed 4000 hours of work experience if the person Has experience in the delivery of services to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorder, or emotional disturbance; or Has experience in the delivery of services to individuals with traumatic brain injury or developmental disabilities and has completed additional training in 245I.05, subdivision 3, paragraph (c); or
- Completed 2000 hours of work experience AND receives treatment supervision at least once per week until meeting the 4000 hour requirement AND Has experience in the delivery of services to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorder, or emotional disturbance; or Has experience in the delivery of services to individuals with traumatic brain injury or developmental disabilities and has completed additional training in 245I.05, subdivision 3, paragraph (c).
Additional Qualifications: - Ability to work with diverse populations.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with adolescents and/or their families.
- Understanding of mental health conditions as they impact behavior.
- Timely and accurate submission of documentation of services and other documents as required.
- Must possess a valid MN driver's license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record to allow for possible travel requirements.
- Willingness to support the mission of Christian Family Solutions.
- Active member of a WELS or ELS or confessional Lutheran Church preferred.
